The hammers have been custom bored and are being installed on the action. This is the action for the Steinway O. Now completed I can begin the regulation process. Stay tuned.

Continuing work on the Steinway O. The soundboard has been refinished and the bridges have been reconditioned. Ready to install the harp.

Working on a Steinway O. Getting ready to put the finish on the soundboard. This piano is mine and will be for sale. Anyone interested please let me know.

Just finished working on this 4’6” Zimmerman grand. Then on to the 9’ concert grand sitting behind it. As long as it’s a piano I’m not particular what size it is. I’m a equal opportunity rebuilder.

Continuing work on the Hume concert grand. It’s proving to be a little bit more of a challenge but I’m hoping to wrap it up next week.

The plan was to have this 1910 Steinway O home for the holidays but I missed the mark. So it will go to it’s new home right after the first of the year. Happy New Year to all!!!

Installing the damper felt on a 1910 Steinway model O. After getting the felt on the dampers I was able to put the first tuning on the piano.

A fun thing about working on old pianos. Look at the details in the casting of the harp. They believed in form and function. Hard to find in today’s world. This is an old Weber upright built around the turn of the century.

Frank Bidinger’s attention to details is impeccable. He brought out the beauty in our piano that we knew was hidden beneath the years of neglect. He was very polite and professional. We are so thankful that our friends recommended that we contact him.
