Continued work on my O. Laying out the bridge pattern. Adding black to the cap. Drilling, notching and pinning the bridge. Almost ready to string.

Continuing work on the Steinway O. Making the bearing cuts on the bridge. Than laying out the bridge pattern. Ready for drilling and notching.

I don’t normally refinish pianos. But I wanted to help these folks out and refinished the family upright. It’s not quite done but I started putting it together today.

The underside of the board has the finish on it and ready to be installed. The board is back in the piano and all clamped up. Next will be doing the bridge work.

The soundboard blank has been cut and fit. Also the ribs have been fit, scalloped and fit. Everything is about ready for the glue up. Stay tuned.

Doing the prep work on a 1917 Steinway O. I’m going to be glueing up and installing a new soundboard.

Taking a break from the shop. I’m here in CO and seeing Mountain Goats for the first time. Back at it in about 10 days.

Frank Bidinger’s attention to details is impeccable. He brought out the beauty in our piano that we knew was hidden beneath the years of neglect. He was very polite and professional. We are so thankful that our friends recommended that we contact him.
